Welcome to the Acorn Centre!

Our pupils spend half of their school day in The Acorn Centre with personalised learning of core subjects. The Literacy Tree curriculum is followed which exposes our pupils to a wide range of inclusive and diverse quality stories and texts. For the rest of the school day, Acorn pupils join their peers in the mainstream classes so that they receive a full and balanced curriculum.

In addition to the academic curriculum, Acorn Centre pupils receive life skills lessons to prepare them for life outside of and beyond APPS.
