Delight in schools

Since 2019, APPS has been working with Delight to improve the social, emotional, academic and economic outcomes of pupils who experience any form of disadvantage. The programmes offer exceptional, inclusive experiences for pupils and excellent CPD for teachers, which positively impacts the pupils involved in the projects and beyond due to improved teacher confidence and skill.

Delight is a leading arts-based learning charity, dedicated to creating lasting change for children affected by disadvantage. In line with APPS, Delight's vision is to provide equal opportunity for every child to thrive both in their school years and beyond.

In 2023, Year 4 pupils took part in the Delight in Art: Rainforest Retreat project. Impact can be viewed below.
